The old adage “time is money” has never been more true, when applied to contact centers.  A busy center cannot afford to have downtime, so planning for potential disasters is crucial.  The types of disasters that require planning include: natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes and floods, and technical disasters, like regional or local power outage, local infrastructure failure or a fiber cut.
